As a Security Officer Badge Desk in Monroe, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and help support a smooth flow of visitors, employees, and vehicles. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach, you will help maintain a professional presence and provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, monitoring entry and exit points, and supporting security-related protocols for employees, visitors, and contractors at the location.
- Verify identification, credentials, deliveries, and/or vehicle access permissions while maintaining accurate visitor, vendor, and incident logs in accordance with post instructions.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized activity and/or conditions that could require follow-up.
- Support access control operations by monitoring gates, doors, and restricted areas, helping to deter unauthorized entry and reporting security-related concerns in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
