As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps discourage security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating disruptive behavior and reporting concerns through the proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, helping to deter unauthorized entry, theft, and/or damage; document and communicate observations per site policy.
• Complete required reports such as incident reports and patrol logs, and communicate with site leadership and local emergency services as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
