Security Guard - Roving Patrol Driver

As a Security Guard - Roving Patrol Driver in Mukilteo, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide strong customer service and communication to employees and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in line with AU Driver Policy Requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Control access at entry points by checking identification, verifying authorization, managing visitor check-in, and/or coordinating badging and escort requirements per site procedures.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, document unusual activity, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts using approved communication methods.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
