Security Officer Patrol Field Operations Job in Nashville, Tennessee

As a Security Officer Patrol Field Operations in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, people-first culture. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to government facility personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific entry procedures.
- Document patrols, incidents, unusual conditions, and security-related activities in required reports and logs.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
