As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, clear communication. You will provide customer service to tenants and visitors while supporting a caring, people-first culture built on integrity, teamwork, and innovative problem solving. Armed Guard Card or License required.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site management and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas, entrances, stairwells, and perimeter points, documenting unusual activity and reporting concerns.
• Control access to the property by verifying identification and/or authorization, monitoring entry points, and assisting with visitor management and package or delivery screening per site procedures.
• Complete routine documentation such as daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and communicate security-related information during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement/military/security experience OR a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Possess a DD214 with honorable discharge OR an associates degree/60 college credits OR a police academy certificate OR a corrections academy certificate.
• Handcuffs/pepper spray/baton is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
