As a Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, manage access control and visitor flow, and document incidents using a computer and/or tablet. You will remain highly visible, support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication, and collaborate with site teams. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, common areas, loading and dock areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter as assigned.
• Monitor access points and building activity, help to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited behavior, and assist with visitor management and contractor check-in as directed by site policy.
• Complete shift reports and incident reports, communicate with Allied Universal supervision and/or property management, and support security-related operations during special events, deliveries, and other peak-traffic periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Have CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
