Security Officer Dispatch Operator

As a Security Officer Dispatch Operator in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, and support timely responses to security-related situations. This role blends keen attention to detail with outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a financial institution location.
- Monitor communication channels, dispatch personnel to reported incidents, and document security-related activity, calls, and/or status updates in a timely manner.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to coordinate resources and relay information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, while monitoring access activity and reporting unusual conditions or concerns.
- Support daily operations by maintaining post records, preparing incident reports, and communicating professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors regarding site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
