As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support store teams and guests with clear communication, respond to concerns, and document activity as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests in a retail location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, back-of-house areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns.
• Monitor access points, fitting rooms, and high-value merchandise areas; observe for suspicious behavior and promptly report concerns per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with store leadership and/or local responders as needed.
• Complete detailed shift reports, incident documentation, and daily activity logs, and communicate pertinent information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
