Security Officer Patrol Guard

As a Security Officer Patrol Guard in De Soto, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic technology location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and innovation, working as part of a team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, lobbies, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor logs, and support access control procedures for restricted areas and sensitive equipment locations.
- Complete routine reports on security-related activities, observed conditions, and/or incidents, and assist with directions, questions, and general site support as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
