Security Officer Entry Screening Specialist

As a Security Officer Entry Screening Specialist in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help manage access points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure environment. In this access control role, you will remain visible, deliver outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with employees, visitors, and drivers. - Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and/or employees by following site-specific access control procedures, badge verification processes, and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, screen authorized personnel and/or vehicles, verify credentials, and report unusual activity or access discrepancies to site leadership.
- Respond to incidents, delivery issues, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while supporting emergency response activities and required documentation.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, trailer yards, shipping and receiving areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, and incident reports, and communicate clearly with site contacts regarding daily operations, policy questions, and/or security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
