Security Officer Bilingual / Patrol

As a Security Officer Bilingual / Patrol in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic grocery retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. In our agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first, act with integrity, and deliver through teamwork every day.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor access to the location and observe customer, visitor, and/or vendor activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
- Support asset protection efforts by helping to monitor high-traffic areas, assisting with incident response, and completing required reports related to security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
