Security Officer Full Time Patrol

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Palo Alto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic automotive location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related duties appropriate to an automotive location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, entry points, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor facility access, verify credentials, and document daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site policies.
• Support emergency response activities, traffic and parking oversight, and visitor processing while following post orders and client-directed protocols for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to use a computer or tablet comfortably is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
