As a Security Guard - Unarmed Rover Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy education location, you will monitor assigned areas, perform routine foot and/or bike patrols, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points, assist students, faculty, staff, and visitors with clear communication, and report concerns promptly. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and Allied Universal post orders; assist with directions and policy questions as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, residence hall exteriors, parking areas, athletic spaces, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor and report security-related conditions such as unsecured doors, suspicious behavior, maintenance hazards, and policy violations; complete detailed incident reports and notify appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, fire and/or alarm activations, and lost and found situations; coordinate with campus personnel and public responders as directed.
• Support emergency response activities by assisting with evacuations, crowd management, and traffic control for campus events and peak movement periods while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
