Security Officer - Access Entry

As a Security Officer - Access Entry in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This access control role calls for strong communication, professionalism, and customer service, while reflecting our values of being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity through teamwork.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, screen visitors and deliveries, and maintain accurate access records in support of security-related operations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, gate areas, parking locations, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Help to deter unauthorized access, trespassing, and policy violations by maintaining a visible presence and following post orders for access control and visitor management.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
