Security Officer - Full-Time Patrol Overnights

As a Security Officer - Full-Time Patrol Overnights in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and media campus, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations, use site technology to communicate updates, and deliver customer-focused service to employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a tech and/or data-driven location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting the appropriate personnel and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior work areas, building entrances, loading and delivery areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, verifying credentials and/or visitor authorization according to site requirements and documenting access activity when required.
• Complete security-related reports and shift logs, documenting patrol observations, incidents, and follow-up actions per site guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have a guard card and/or license, preferred.
• Have CPR and/or First Aid certification, preferred, which may be completed post hire.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
