Security Officer Alarm Panel Patrol Job in Piscataway, New Jersey

As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Patrol in Piscataway, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Retail Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a luxury retail location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, respond to alarms, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to guests and team members. What You'll Do:
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and store personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the luxury retail location, including sales floors, entrances, stock areas, and surrounding perimeter.
- Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity to help identify and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, or potential hazards.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Maintain detailed and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
