Security Officer - Perimeter Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Perimeter Patrol Driver in Port Arthur, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access points with clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, tank farms, laydown yards, parking areas, and perimeter lines; document findings and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and support badge and/or credential verification, visitor check-in, and contractor routing in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or public responders and assisting with scene control until relieved.
• Complete detailed shift reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation; communicate key information during shift turnover and maintain professional interactions with site operations teams.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shack.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
