In this dynamic role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and innovation while working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, service calls, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and/or local authorities when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, entry points, parking areas, transit access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor high-traffic public areas and restricted access points, verify authorized entry when required, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious activity through proper channels.
- Support orderly movement throughout the location by providing directions, assisting with crowd monitoring during peak periods, and following post orders related to transportation operations and customer interactions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
