Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a government location, where you will monitor grounds and facilities, complete routine foot patrols, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations using a computer or tablet, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and provide responsive customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific, security-related procedures and post orders at a government location, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, watching for conditions that may help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and public areas, verify identification and/or authorization as directed, and direct visitors to appropriate locations while maintaining required logs.
• Complete detailed documentation of patrols, incidents, and daily activities, and report maintenance concerns such as lighting outages, unsecured doors, and other unusual conditions per site procedure.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
