As a Security Officer Dispatch Services in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. - Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, communication protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters to on-site personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Monitor radio, telephone, camera, alarm, and/or building management systems, document activity in dispatch logs, and relay accurate updates to site leadership and responding personnel.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations with clear communication, gather pertinent details, and help to coordinate emergency services, property management, and/or on-site staff as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned, and report unusual activity, access control concerns, and property-related issues according to site-specific policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
