What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or volunteers while following site-specific, security-related procedures, policies, and post orders, including when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of galleries, halls, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance, fire, and/or operational concerns for reporting.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and controlled areas; assist with visitor flow and access control by verifying credentials, directing guests, and documenting deliveries and contractor activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; provide clear instructions to occupants and coordinate with site leadership and local first responders as directed.
• Complete detailed patrol logs and incident reports; communicate observations and status updates to site representatives, Allied Universal supervision, and/or dispatch using required radio and reporting systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card/license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
