Security Officer - Access Control Driver

As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver in Saint Simons Island, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location where you will manage access control, greet guests and staff, verify credentials, issue badges, and document activity to support a welcoming, secure environment. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a hotel or resort location.
• Control access at designated entrances by verifying identification, issuing and/or collecting visitor credentials as required, and directing arrivals to the appropriate check-in or contact point.
• Monitor entry points, cameras, and alarm panels as assigned to help to deter unauthorized entry, and document unusual activity per site guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest disturbances, medical calls, and/or property-related concerns, and notify site leadership and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property, interior common areas, and perimeter to help to deter policy violations and identify maintenance or guest service issues to report.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
