As a Security Guard - Mobile Rounds Driver in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine mobile patrols, stay highly visible, and respond to security-related concerns with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, supporting site coverage across assigned areas while documenting observations and reporting issues. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff at a government location by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and/or posted rules.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and common spaces; verify credentials and/or authorization as required and direct individuals to the appropriate destination.
• Respond to alarms, calls for service, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner; assist with emergency response activities per post orders.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written and/or electronic reports; notify supervision and/or the appropriate public agency contacts when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
