As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, clear communication. You will support riders and staff with courteous customer service, document observations, and report issues promptly. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transit location.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of transit facilities, platforms, bus stops, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and public areas, observe for suspicious behavior and/or hazards, and communicate conditions to dispatch and/or local authorities as needed.
• Complete detailed shift reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and use radios and/or other communication devices to coordinate with Allied Universal and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
