Security Officer Full Time Overnight Driver Patrol

As a Security Officer Full Time Overnight Driver Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine driving patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to support residents with outstanding customer service and communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity.

- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, document daily events and/or unusual incidents, and communicate professionally with residents, guests, and/or first responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
