Security Officer Front Desk

As a Security Officer Front Desk in Santa Monica, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk professional at a premier commercial real estate location, where you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk location in a commercial real estate environment.
- Monitor access to the property lobby and front desk area by greeting guests, verifying visitor information, issuing access credentials when applicable, and communicating with building personnel regarding arrivals and deliveries.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through required communication channels and documentation processes.
- Answer phones, support front desk operations, and provide information or direction to occupants and visitors while helping to maintain awareness of security-related concerns within the building.
- Observe activity in the lobby, entrance areas, and nearby common spaces, and help to deter unauthorized access by following post orders, visitor management procedures, and escalation protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
