As a Security Officer - Distribution Site in SAVANNAH, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity throughout the site. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being active, communicating with professionalism, and delivering great service while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entry points, loading and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter.
- Monitor access to the location by observing pedestrian and vehicle activity, verifying credentials when required, and helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
- Support daily operations at a busy retail-related distribution location by communicating with site personnel, following post orders, and reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and/or unusual activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
