Security Officer Property Access

As a Security Officer Property Access in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic technology location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a team that puts people first and brings innovative thinking to every shift.

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and observe site activity to support authorized entry and help to identify potential security-related concerns.
- Assist with routine reports, logs, and/or incident documentation while maintaining a professional presence and following post orders, client instructions, and Allied Universal standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid experience or certification is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
