As a Security Officer - Alarm Panel Monitor in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier residential community where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will greet residents and guests, respond to alarms and service requests, and document observations clearly. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, assist with resident and visitor check-in processes, and document deliveries and/or vendor arrivals per site guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, amenities, parking areas, and the property perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, communicate noteworthy conditions to site management, and report maintenance issues that may impact security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
