As a Security Officer Full Time Dispatch Driver in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Dispatch Professional supporting a utilities location, you will coordinate communications, monitor incoming information, and help direct responses to security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, maintain accurate records, and support a professional environment through clear communication and teamwork. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to utility operations personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Coordinate and dispatch security-related personnel in response to alarms, incidents, service requests, and critical situations, maintaining a calm, problem-solving approach.
- Monitor communications systems, alarms, access activity, and operational information; document incidents, dispatch actions, and shift activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Communicate clearly with field personnel, site leadership, emergency responders, and other authorized stakeholders to support timely incident response and continuity of utility operations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, reporting observed hazards, unusual activity, and security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess supervisory experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
