Security Officer - Dispatch Supervisor - Full Time Job in Sparks, Nevada

As a Security Officer Dispatch Driving Role in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional supporting a utilities location, you will coordinate communications, monitor alarms and access activity, and support response to security-related incidents. You will maintain clear records, provide professional customer service, and help promote a secure environment through teamwork and integrity. This driving position offers the opportunity to make an impact with Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative team.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to utility operations personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor dispatch communications, alarms, cameras, and other site systems; receive and document calls for service; and coordinate the appropriate response to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, shift activity records, and communications with field personnel and site contacts.
- Coordinate routine and urgent communications with patrol personnel, facility staff, emergency responders, and/or approved vendors in accordance with established procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around utility facilities and perimeter areas as assigned, reporting unusual conditions, access concerns, and maintenance-related observations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess supervisory experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
