Security Officer - Dispatch - Technical Facility Job in Sparks, Nevada

As a Security Officer Full Time Dispatch Center Driver in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional at a utilities location, you will coordinate communications, document activity, monitor systems, and support response to security-related incidents. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service while helping maintain a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor communications, alarms, and site systems; document activity and relay relevant information to appropriate personnel.
- Dispatch security-related personnel and coordinate responses to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, visitor or contractor information, and other dispatch records in accordance with site procedures.
- Support regular and random patrol activity around utility operations and perimeter areas by tracking check-ins and reporting unusual conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
