Security Officer - Outdoor Patrol, Days

As a Security Officer Outdoor Patrol in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Requirements: Proof of HS Diploma/GED, 2 years security, law enforcement and/or military experience, Professional demeanor, Computer literacy

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or customers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the banking location, including the lobby, offices, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee movement, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Support opening and closing activities as assigned, remain visible throughout the location, and communicate clearly with site contacts, coworkers, and/or first responders during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
