Security Officer - Driving Patrol Weekdays

As a Security Officer - Driving Patrol Weekdays in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents while delivering standout customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and assisting with access control measures as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout interior areas, exterior grounds, and parking areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other building systems when assigned, and document observations, incidents, and actions taken in required reports and logs.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and/or confirming appointment details in accordance with site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
