As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible, and help to discourage security-related incidents. You will assist guests and tenants with clear communication, document activity, and respond to concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail and/or mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including customer disputes, medical situations, and/or service calls, and notify site leadership and/or public responders as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, corridors, loading areas, parking lots, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and key activity areas for unusual conditions, assist with access control and/or visitor guidance, and communicate observations to the appropriate parties.
• Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and follow escalation procedures for maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
• Have supervisory experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma/GED.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
