As a Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other assigned areas to help maintain an orderly environment, manage visitor check-in and/or badge control as directed, and assist with directions and general inquiries.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely notification to site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Complete detailed incident reports and activity logs, preserve relevant observations, and coordinate with site personnel to support investigations and follow-up actions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Vaccines are required for this hospital site.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
