Security Officer New York State Patrolling

As a Security Officer New York State Patrolling in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting daily operations with agility, reliability, and innovation. - Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, platforms, concourses, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as permitted by site policies.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help to deter unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations.
- Assist with directions, information, and general support during routine operations, service disruptions, and/or emergency situations while maintaining a professional presence.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
