What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to all visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential verification, and other security-related policies at the location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, check identification and/or visitor documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted and operational areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, gates, and access points, with awareness of changing conditions within an industrial location.
- Document daily activities, access exceptions, and incident details in required logs and reports, and communicate observed concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
