Allied Universal® is hiring a Business Continuity Systems Administrator. The Business Continuity Systems Administrator supports efforts to maintain operational continuity and resilience for a high profile customer. The Business Continuity Systems Administrator analyzes business processes, develops continuity strategies, and develops and documents effective temporary workarounds for critical business processes to ensure continuity during disruptions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fusion Framework software configuration: add attributes, create permission levels, processes, templates, dashboards, design outputs for monthly metrics and automated reporting
- Manage development and implementation of user functionality enhancements; provide customer-facing presentations; align software interface with customer’s needs; conduct “sandbox” testing; move to production or “live” environment
- Provide expertise regarding operational-level business continuity plans; design system process rerouting during emergency scenarios (e.g., natural disasters)
- Identify and analyze single points of failure in business processes, systems, and infrastructure, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement risk mitigation strategies
- Ensure that all defined workarounds and mitigation strategies are aligned with the overall business continuity plan and are regularly tested for effectiveness
- Plan, coordinate, and execute disaster recovery tests to validate the effectiveness of recovery plans and procedures across the organization
- Document the results of disaster recovery tests and tabletop exercises, identify gaps or areas for improvement, and work with teams to address these issues
- Develop technical manuals, user guides, training materials, and manage overall roll-out of system enhancements to users
- Lead data management process; create cadence for digital records destruction
- Configure and troubleshoot workflows, objects, and fields for automation and specific use cases
- Address user requests and incidents promptly and manage support tickets with external software vendors
- Oversee user licenses, security groups, and annual attestation process
- Upload and automate data processes in Fusion, while monitoring exceptions
- Provide technical expertise for IT Data Lifecycle Management, including risk summaries, Configuration Management Database (CMDB) changes, and data management controls
- Support contract renewals, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and incident management with technical insight and testing configuration changes
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
- Must possess one of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Data Science, or related field of study
- Associate’s degree in Economics, Data Science, or related field of study with a minimum of two (2) years of business with a minimum of five (5) years of related experience in business continuity planning, disaster recovery, or risk management
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in business continuity planning, disaster recovery, risk management, or related field
- Strong analytical capability
- Proficient and experienced with Microsoft products (e.g., Excel)
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent problem solving skills; ability to create innovative solutions
- Ability to work effectively across several different functional areas in a collaborative environment
- Ability to provide timely and accurate customer service
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):
- Certified Fusion Systems Administrator
- Experience with Salesforce or other governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) tools
- Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following:
- Power BI or other data mining experience
- Analysis – be able to tell a story with numbers and reporting
- Database Management – have familiarity with the way databases and tables integrate
- System Administration – understand system maintenance and user management
BENEFITS:
- Pay Rate $75,000 per year

- Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days
- Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly. Unused vacation is only paid out where required by law.
