As a Security Officer Gated Community in Trabuco Canyon, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will help manage access points, monitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for residents, guests, and vendors. In this access control role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide strong customer service and communication while helping to deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Mix Shift Swing & Day Shift

Pay Rate: $21.40 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by following access control procedures, community policies, and site-specific security-related protocols at a residential location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification, confirm authorization for access, and document visitor, contractor, and/or delivery activity in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the community, amenities, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and support security-related awareness throughout the location.
• Communicate with residents, management, and/or emergency responders as needed regarding access issues, disturbances, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
