Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Overnights

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Overnights in Tucson, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and/or concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers and/or visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, office spaces, parking lots and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points such as gates, guard shacks and entrances, assisting with visitor check-in, driver directions, badge verification and/or key control in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, including patrol activity logs, access control records and escalations per site policy.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
