As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Shopping Center in Tustin, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this role, you will support a welcoming environment through strong communication, routine vehicle and foot patrols, and a dependable presence that reflects our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and store personnel by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and security-related protocols, and by supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and customer concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, high-traffic gathering areas, and restricted locations for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or after-hours access concerns, and report findings according to post instructions.
• Assist with crowd management, directional support, and de-escalation during busy shopping periods, special events, and/or emergency situations within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
