Key Responsibilities:

System Monitoring: Continuously monitor access control systems, closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras, fire alarm systems, and intrusion detection software across all corporate facilities.

Threat Intelligence: Track global events, severe weather, civil unrest, and geopolitical risks that could impact company assets or employees traveling abroad.

Incident Response: Act as the primary dispatcher during security incidents, medical emergencies, and natural disasters. Initiate crisis management protocols and escalate issues to leadership.

Communications: Receive and log incoming emergency and non-emergency calls. Broadcast critical mass notifications to employees during active threats.

Liaison: Coordinate directly with local law enforcement, fire departments, emergency medical services, and third-party security vendors during incidents.

Reporting: Document all incidents, system technical failures, and daily shift activities in an accurate and detailed manner using standard logging software.

Pay Rate: $26.44 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a technology and media location.
  • Receive, prioritize, document, and dispatch requests for assistance, incidents, alarms, and other security-related matters using established communication systems.
  • Monitor cameras, access-control alerts, and other site systems; communicate relevant information to field personnel, site contacts, and emergency responders as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following escalation procedures and supporting timely coordination of resources.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, incident records, and dispatch documentation while handling sensitive information in accordance with site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR/First Aid is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A Guard Card/License is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
