Security Officer Full Time Access Authorization Job in West Memphis, Arkansas

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Authorization in West Memphis, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a dynamic industrial location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing visitor and employee access, monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and providing outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor and control access to the industrial construction location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized personnel in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around entry points, work areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, unusual activity, and potential site concerns.
- Maintain accurate access logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while supporting a professional, orderly environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
