As a Security Officer - Hospital Perimeter Patrol in Mangonia Park, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a busy healthcare location. You will conduct routine foot patrols, stay highly visible, monitor activity, and document and report security-related concerns while providing strong customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and people first, you will communicate clearly, respond to incidents, and help maintain an orderly environment with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and promptly notifying clinical staff and/or local responders as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, assist with visitor directions and wayfinding, and help maintain orderly flow in lobbies, waiting areas, and/or entrances as assigned.
• Complete patrol logs and incident reports, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts, and support security-related checks such as door status, lighting, and key control as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• This position is in a hospital setting where vaccines are required.
• This position is in a hospital setting that includes work in and/or around the morgue.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• This position is in a hospital setting where you may be required to help restrain individuals.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
