As an Allied Universal Security Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, support access control, and communicate clearly with the team while documenting activity using a computer or tablet. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Help maintain a professional presence at entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and/or production-adjacent areas while following post orders and client guidelines.
• Monitor access control points and help manage authorized entry and exit for personnel, visitors, and/or vendors, including verifying identification and issuing visitor credentials when required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, lots, docks, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions, unsecured doors, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or other systems as assigned and communicate observed concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, fire alarms, hazardous conditions, and/or disturbances as directed by post orders.
• Complete incident reports, daily activity logs, and/or other documentation with clear, accurate details and timely submission.
• Support vehicle and/or truck traffic flow as assigned, including checking delivery paperwork at receiving areas and communicating with shipping and receiving contacts.
• Assist with key control, badge accountability, and/or property pass procedures when required by site policy.
• Coordinate with local emergency services, facility management, and/or on-site teams during drills, evacuations, and other emergency response activities as directed.
• Perform other security-related duties as assigned by site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• - Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• - A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
