Security Officer - Bank Front Desk

As a Security Officer - Bank Front Desk in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a financial institution, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, helping manage access control, visitor check-in, and badge procedures while monitoring the lobby for security-related concerns. You will communicate clearly with staff and guests, document activity, and use computer or tablet tools to support daily operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Control access to the facility by welcoming visitors, verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests to the appropriate area per site procedures.
• Monitor alarms, CCTV, and other monitoring systems from the front desk, documenting unusual activity and reporting concerns to Allied Universal supervision and/or site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating disruptive behavior and contacting emergency services when needed.
• Complete incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation, and communicate updates during shift turnover to support consistent operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
