Security Officer - Dispatch Driver

As a Security Officer - Dispatch Driver in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at an aerospace and defense location, you will coordinate security-related calls and radio traffic, track officer activity, document incidents, and help route responses to alarms and access issues. You will support teams through clear communication, customer service, and timely reporting while living our agile, reliable, and innovative values with integrity and teamwork. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related operations at an aerospace and defense location.
• Receive and dispatch calls for service via radio, phone, and/or computer systems; coordinate officer response and communicate clear instructions during routine and critical incidents.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems; document activity, escalate concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports for incidents, calls for service, key control, and/or access activity; relay information to management and responding personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
