Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential care location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, respond to concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or unusual behavior within the location.
- Support a welcoming residential environment by assisting with routine inquiries, observing conditions on site, and communicating security-related information as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- One or more years of law enforcement experience, or two or more years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or three or more years of security-related experience is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
