What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity while helping to verify access authorization and following site protocols for deliveries, contractors, and guests.
- Support day-to-day operations by communicating clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal teams regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or conditions that may affect the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
